Direct drives on all axes
- The V7linear consistently relies on direct drives on all axes. By eliminating mechanical transmission elements, there is neither backlash nor wear-related loss of accuracy. This enables high dynamics, precise positioning, and consistently reliable performance over the long term.
Comprehensive Temperature Management
- Temperature-induced displacement is one of the biggest factors affecting machining accuracy. The V7linear relies on continuous temperature control of thermally relevant components, thereby creating stable conditions for reproducible results—even during long runs.
CSC Spindle Technology
- CSC technology regulates the temperature of the spindle right where heat is generated. Active cooling of the rotor, bearings, shaft, and HSK interface reduces thermal expansion and ensures high process stability throughout the entire machining cycle.
Compact 5-axis kinematics
- The high-performance rotary/tilting unit enables the machining of complex workpieces in a single setup. This reduces setup time, increases accuracy, and creates optimal conditions for demanding 5-axis simultaneous machining.
Connected Manufacturing
- With Heidenhain TNC7, IO-Link, and integrated digitization functions, the V7linear is ready for modern manufacturing environments. Relevant process data is available in real time, supporting transparent and efficient production processes.

The HIGH SPEED EAGLEV7linear was designed from the outset for use in automated production environments.
